The Founders Junior Council (FJC) is one of the Detroit Institute of Arts' largest auxiliary groups, and is committed to strengthening the museum by introducing new generations of supporters and art lovers to the DIA's extraordinary collections.

For over three decades the FJC has been a vital part of Southeast Michigan's cultural scene, bringing together young professionals with a common desire to promote arts in the region and organizing some of the area's premiere social events. These exciting soirees not only encourage visitors to the museum, but as an important source of revenue for the DIA, they also help support the exhibitions, educational programs, and magnificent collections that area residents and visitors from around the world have come to know and love.

The FJC also sponsors events designed to educate potential collectors and enhance individual appreciation of art. These include exclusive tours of artists' studios as well as private viewings of both special exhibitions and selections from the DIA's extensive collection.

With all of these amazing opportunities, the FJC is the perfect way for you to expand your cultural horizons and enhance your social calendar, all while helping to support one of North America's leading art museums.
